Mexico’s National Commission for the Protection and Defense of Users of Financial Services (CONDUSEF) published fourth-quarter 2025 results for its Índice de Desempeño de Atención a Usuarios (IDATU) covering electronic payment funds institutions and crowdfunding institutions. The IDATU is intended to show how well firms handle and resolve user complaints, based on criteria including timeliness, response quality and process-improvement actions. Sector-level scores were 9.45 out of 10 for electronic payment funds institutions and 9.38 out of 10 for crowdfunding institutions. Top-performing firms included Spin by Oxxo (Compropago, S.A. de C.V., electronic payment funds) and Arcés (Crowd Up Mex, S.A.P.I. de C.V., crowdfunding), both scoring 10, as well as Edenred México Fintech, S.A. de C.V. (9.91) and Swap Wallet (Pocketgroup Technologies, S.A. de C.V., 9.64). CONDUSEF also noted there were no institutions in the sector with a score below 9 points and highlighted an emphasis on equitable treatment for vulnerable users, including older adults.
