The General Council of Sweden's Riksbank has appointed Göran Hjelm as a new member of the Executive Board, with the title Deputy Governor, replacing Anna Breman. Hjelm is appointed for a six-year term starting 2 March 2026, and his first monetary policy meeting will be held on 18 March.
