Argentina’s Superintendency of Insurance (SSN) has updated insured sums and deductibles for compulsory and voluntary motor liability insurance, covering motor vehicles, trailers and passenger transport vehicles. Resolution SSN No. 480/2026 also revises expenses under the Autonomous Legal Obligation (OLA) and establishes annual updates to insured sums. The changes apply to policies issued or renewed from Jan. 1, 2027. For passenger transport insurance, the application date coincides with previously adopted changes distinguishing public services from other services. Under those earlier rules, public service policies must carry a policyholder deductible, while insurers may reduce or remove the deductible for services outside that category.
