The Dominican Republic's Pensions Superintendency (SIPEN) has awarded its "Here We Know About Pensions" seal to Claro Dominicana, recognizing it as the first telecommunications company in the country to obtain the certification. The recognition was granted after 90% of the company's staff received the required training on the Dominican Pension System. More than 4,000 employees completed the virtual course "What I should know about my pension", which covered key information on workers' rights and duties under the Dominican Pension System and their relationship with pension fund administrators. The seal is part of a SIPEN initiative intended to ensure employees at Dominican companies acquire the knowledge needed to understand the pension system. The certification will remain valid for two years. After that, Claro Dominicana will have to undergo a recertification process that includes passing an updated course on the pension system.
