The Pensions Superintendency awarded its "Here We Know About Pensions" seal to CCI Puesto de Bolsa after 100 percent of the firm's employees completed pension education training, making it the second securities intermediary to receive the certification. The seal recognizes companies and institutions whose staff have acquired the necessary knowledge of the Dominican Pension System. The certification is granted to companies and institutions where more than 70 percent of employees meet the knowledge threshold. SIPEN said more than 20 companies and institutions have been certified so far. It also linked the initiative's extension to securities market firms to the role brokerage houses play in placing part of pension fund assets into financial instruments.
