The Argentina Securities Commission (CNV) reported that its president, Roberto E. Silva, held bilateral meetings and institutional visits in the United Kingdom ahead of UK Fintech Week 2026 and presented Argentina’s recent regulatory developments on virtual asset service providers and tokenization at El Salvador’s Digital Assets Summit. In London, the CNV participated in regulator discussions on tokenization, digital assets and market infrastructure, including the Digital Securities Sandbox, and joined a roundtable on real-world asset tokenization use cases. The agenda included meetings with the Financial Conduct Authority, HM Treasury and the London Stock Exchange Group, alongside other fintech stakeholders, covering anti-money laundering frameworks, fund traceability, and the balance between financial integrity and economic growth. In El Salvador, Silva spoke on a panel on supervision and regulation of digital assets in Latin America alongside the Central Bank of Uruguay’s head of financial supervision and the president of El Salvador’s National Commission of Digital Assets.
