The Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission has extended until Dec. 31, 2026, a 50% discount on securities registration filing fees for micro, small and medium enterprises raising funds through public offerings. The discount also covers securities registered through streamlined processes for specified power, real estate, agribusiness and hospital companies. Eligibility is based on statutory asset thresholds of up to PHP 3 million for microenterprises, PHP 15 million for small enterprises and PHP 100 million for medium enterprises. Applicants must submit a certification signed by the company president or treasurer and have paid-up capital of PHP 25 million, except agribusinesses using the streamlined process. The measure operates alongside a 20% discount for MSMEs formalizing their corporate registration, and the SEC has granted about PHP 139.6 million in MSME discounts since reduced rates began on July 16, 2025.
