The Capital Markets Board of Türkiye has clarified the requirements for reopening suspended funds established by portfolio managers A1 Capital, Bulls and Pardus, following misleading press and social media reports. The managers must apply to Ziraat Bank, which must forward their applications to the board, before the relevant funds can resume trading on the Turkish Electronic Fund Trading Platform (TEFAS) and other distribution channels. The clarification reiterates the reopening framework announced on Sept. 30, 2026, following the Sept. 17 trading suspensions. Under that framework, the three managers’ suspended funds outside liquidation may reopen for purchases and/or sales simultaneously across all distribution channels after completion of the liquidation process. Each founding manager determines the reopening date and fund unit trading terms, taking account of portfolio composition, liquidity, market conditions and investors’ interests.
